Move Funds

Sometimes your spending doesn't necessarily line up with your original budget plan. That's totally fine. A budget should be flexible enough to allow you to adjust to emergencies, changes in priorities

Besides manually changing budgeted amounts for a category, there are two other ways to move funds between expense categories.

To move excess remaining funds from one category to another, click on the remaining amount to open the popover displayed below. Then enter the amount you would like to transfer and select the category you would like to transfer the funds to.

Move funds from one category to another

If your category has a negative remaining amount, the popover will instead allow you to cover the remaining amount with funds from another category.
